Description: This position has primary responsibility for recruiting and training for Assisting Hands Greater Murray®. The Hiring Manager primary responsibility is to recruit high quality caregivers, onboard and train them. Mentoring caregivers after onboarding is a secondary responsibility.
Education: High School Diploma/GED required; CNA in good standing with 2 years of experience required
Qualifications: Track record in recruiting needed. Having worked as a caregiver and as a CNA a must. training and mentoring caregivers required. Must be a good problem solver and able to work independently. Excellent interpersonal skills. Must be well-organized and have good attention to detail.
Reports to: Agency Director
Primary Duties:
- Recruits and onboards several caregivers every week
- Provides orientation and training to new caregivers
- Keep all caregivers file up to date and in compliance
- Handles/resolves caregiver issues, problems and scheduling changes
- Counsels caregivers regarding attendance or performance issues
- Matches appropriate caregivers to clients based on personality, availability, and skill set
- Makes sure that all cases are covered and arranges for substitute/back-up coverage as necessary.
- May occasionally cover a shift
- Other duties as may arise
- Participates in on-call rotation as needed.
Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
FLSA Status: Hourly non-exempt
